Finding The Niche
To begin the research I delve into several aspects: What sentiments and thoughts define my niche? What narratives shape their story? What insights do they hold regarding skincare?
Defining The Challenge
How might I address their pain points by positioning my product within an untapped market? Helping users make conscious and informed decisions in an environment that often encourages impulsive or irrational purchases.

The First Approach
Developing the first wireframes. My focus was on creating a clear routine building process: adding your current products, your skincare preferences and searching for products that match guided by the app recommendations.

Design Process
With my background in Art Direction, design principles are essential to me, helping me visualize how each idea translates into the interface. The main goal is to create user awareness around complementing what they already have, while also empowering them to elevate their routine with Cacao’s products.

Defining the look & feel
From branding to all the elements that shape the visual universe of the interface, this phase focuses on finding a clean, balanced, human, and representative perspective on skincare.

Smart changes after testing
Testing was pivotal in my design process, enabling me to identify and enhance interface elements where my product provided the most value to users. Why 'smart changes'? Time constraints required strategic decision-making, prioritizing important and urgent changes necessary for a successful minimum viable product.
